SEAN NUCCIO.
Sean was born in Knoxville, TN, but was raised in Kenai, Alaska. Sean graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Montana State University.
He first came to Kenya in 2004 for 9 months working in slums where he fell in love with the people and ministry. After returning from Kenya he headed to Denver to start “life.” He worked for 5 years in Residential Treatment Centers for teenage boys. Counseling and mentoring youth with a variety of issues from Drug and Alcohol, Gang, Mental Health, Anger, and Sex Offenders.
After patiently/not so patiently waiting, and God using some amazing people to help mold and shape and prepare Sean, God finally told him that he was opening the door back up to return to Kenya.
Sean came back to Kenya in 2011 with WorldVenture. He has been working to help street boys in Mombasa. Helping them get off streets and off drugs and into school and to help them find jobs and mentoring and discipling them to be Godly men. After a little over two years and God doing some amazing things, God did something even more amazing by bringing Jenny into his life.
Sean love sports, soccer, basketball, boxing, bowling, football.
He loves hiking, camping, exploring, adventure, music and just kickin it.
Sean’s favorite verses is Proverbs 24:16 because Sean has messed up and fallen many many many times but thanks to God’s Righteousness in Sean he has been able to get back on his feet every time.
“For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked fall to calamity”
One of Sean’s favorite quotes is:
“Good, then we will fight in the shade.” - Dienekes
