The other day I was presented with a question: "Who can I learn from that has radical obedience?"
So, I sat and thought.
Who is someone in my life that chooses to say YES to the Lord daily?
Who is someone that I look up to and I can say challenges me to seek the Lord on a daily basis?
Who do I know that loves the Lord so much that the Lord's loves radiates through their smile?
My Husband.
He has no idea that I am choosing to feature him in this blog, but I want to let you all know how proud I am of my husband and how bold he is in his faith. My husband is a beautiful example of radical obedience and is not afraid to say YES to the Lord even if it might make him extremely uncomfortable. He is someone who runs for the Lord when commanded to walk. He craves the Lord in prayer, through scripture and in his attitude towards life.
My husband says YES to the Lord in the midst of adversity from the world and at the the end of the day, although he is bold in his Savior, he still is respectful to the community he lives in and displays a unique humbleness to everyone he encounters.
Even when he is put in a situation where his confidence might be lacking, he still obediently steps into the arena and relies solely on the Lord's strength.
He is someone who serves well and puts others needs before his own, but what I admire the most is his desire to always grow closer to the Lord.
I am honored to be the wife of such an amazing servant of the Lord and blessed to have such a beautiful example of radical obedience.
In HIM,
