MY SOUL WILL REST IN YOU.

I believe we each have a moment of day or something we do where we feel the Lord so clearly. We can feel His presence, we see His beauty, we can hear His details, and we can be overwhelmed in Him.

Oddly, my moment, my time with Christ is when I am running. Some days it is a struggle (which has been lately) to get out there and just envelop myself in Him through the breaths. Some days I want to stay in and not approach the heat of the day and then there are the days like Monday where I decided, ‘Hey God I am ready for you. I am ready for what you have for me today.’

There are some runs where He uses the beauty around me to help me better understand His love for detail and how precious my life is to Him.

Many runs are a constant conversation with Him through continuous prayer.

And then there are the days like Monday where I literally thought I was going to die and in that moment the perfect song came on and He totally spoke through the music straight to my soul.

“I will not fear the war
I will not fear the storm
My help is on the way. My help is on the way

Oh my God, He will not delay
My refuge and strength always

I will not fear
His promise is true
My God will come through Always. Always

Trouble surrounds me
Chaos abounding
My soul will rest in you

I lift my eyes up
My help comes from the Lord
I lift my eyes up
My help comes from the Lord”

And in a couple minutes a strenuous run turned into a form of absolute worship.

No matter where you are in life, Help is on the way because our God will come through. ALWAYS.
Be encouraged today and take time for that moment.
